discourage you from following GPS instructions. Take
Exit 40 off I-78, go North on Route 737, then when you
come to the four-way intersection go East on Old Route
22. We will be 1½ miles on the right. You may also take the second Kutztown exit (Krumsville / Route 737 North)

Dorney
Park & Wildwater Kingdom:
Dorney Park has been
Pennsylvania’s leading theme
park for 125 years, with a total

Hawk
Mountain Sanctuary:
Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is
the world’s first refuge for

numbers of hawks, eagle and

Folk Festival & German Festival:

Festival offers fun for all

Lehigh Valley Wine Trail:
The Lehigh Valley Wine Trail
is home to nine family-owned
vineyards and wineries that have
brought home the Governor’s Cup
for eight out of the last nine
years and won countless
regional, state, national and
international awards, including
more than 50 for wines made from
Chambourcin, its signature
grape. Designated an American
Viticultural Area (AVA) in 2008,
the Lehigh Valley is
Pennsylvania’s fastest growing
wine region.
Mack Truck
Factory Tours:

fact, “Mack Truck” is a

would like to see how heavy-duty
trucks are made, plan a trip to
Mack’s Macungie Assembly
Operations, open to the public
through pre-arranged tours. In
addition to the factory tour,
you may want to visit the
Mack
Museum, in
Allentown. Vehicles from the
early 1900's to 1979 can be
experienced at the Mack Museum,
along with many interesting
pieces of memorabilia and more
than 80,000 photographs.
Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center:
The Pennsylvania German
Cultural Heritage Center at
Kutztown University is a place,
a museum, and a year-round
program. The Center represents
the commitment of Kutztown
University to the preservation
of Pennsylvania German
("Pennsylvania Dutch") history,
folklore, and traditions. It is
part of the University's
educational and cultural
program. The Center is located
on a 30-acre 19th century
farmstead with a stone farm
house, barn, and smaller
buildings which have been
authentically restored, a
one-room schoolhouse, circa
1870, and the library, which
contains genealogical,
historical and cultural
information. The museum has a
collection of more than 10,000
artifacts representing
Pennsylvania German rural life
in 19th - and early 20th -
centuries, and extensive
genealogical records of several
thousand Pennsylvania German
families dating to the
mid-1700s.
Renningers:
Renningers has been in
Kutztown since 1955 with a
tradition of farmers markets and
antiques & collectors shows. On
any given weekend you can attend
the Farmers Market, Antiques
Market, Outdoor Flea Market, or
a special event like the
Antiques & Collectors
Extravaganza, Antique Radio
Show, or Craft Show.
Rodale Institute:
The mission of the Rodale
Institute, founded in Kutztown
back in 1947 by organic pioneer
J.I. Rodale, is to improve the
health and well-being of people
and the planet through a global
organic transformation that will
mitigate greenhouse gas
emissions in our atmosphere and
restore soil fertility. The
farm’s 333-acre
organic-certified production and
demonstration areas offer
visitors an opportunity to learn
how agriculture can either
contribute to environmental
problems or be a significant
solution in solving global
warming, improving human
nutrition and preventing famine
throughout the world.

Valley
Preferred Cycling Center:
Known for the first 20 years
of its existence as the Lehigh
County Velodrome, this concrete
crater in a corn field was the
idea of publisher Bob Rodale and
remains the most celebrated
velodrome in modern American
cycling history. Countless
national and international
bicycle racing champions began
their trek to glory on this
333-meter track. In addition to
Professional Racing on Friday
and Saturday evenings, Future
Pro Racing on Tuesday evenings
and amateur racing on Saturday
afternoons, the Valley Preferred
Cycling Center provides public
access or “Open Track Time”
anytime from dusk to dawn when
there is not a scheduled event.
No experience or special
bicycles are needed. Just bring
your family and their bikes
along and ride where the pros
ride. ONLY bicycles may be used
on the track. All riding must be
in a counter clockwise direction
and HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.
Wheels of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree:
The Wheels of Time Street
Rod Association is a non-profit,
charitable organization
dedicated to the art of street-rodding.
Wheels of Time’s premier event
is the fantastic Rod and Custom
Jamboree held each August in
Macungie. Over 2,200 street rods
are on display every year at
this popular event. Members also
participate in a monthly cruise
night, held at the Macungie
Memorial Park, including live
music.
Wind Creek Casino:
The Wind Creek Casino features 3,000 slots and the

historic site of the legendary
Bethlehem Steel Corporation.
Bethlehem Steel was the second
largest steel company in the
United States. During World War
I and World War II, Bethlehem
Steel produced armor plate and
ordnance for the U.S. armed
forces, and the Bethlehem
Shipbuilding Corporation’s 15
shipyards produced over 1,100
ships, more than any other
builder during the war. During
its long history, Bethlehem
Steel produced the steel that
built the George Washington
Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge,
Lincoln Tunnel, the Chrysler
Building, Rockefeller Center,
and the U.S. Supreme Court … to
